Twitter's planning to pay its employees in bitcoin-Study!
Twitter never fails to walk along with the trend, it's even planning to cover finance trend. The tech giant is now ambitious to pay its employees in bitcoin-an innovative money.
As Twitter CFO Ned Segal in a TV interview discloses that the platform is eying to involve cryptocurrency (bitcoin) finance. The tech giant is keeping a good watch on the other companies to seek learnings, according to Segal.
He added, "We have done a lot of the upfront thinking to consider how we might pay employees should they ask to be paid in bitcoin, how we might pay a vendor if they asked to be paid in bitcoin and whether we need to have bitcoin on our balance sheet,” Segal said in an interview with CNBC. "We want to be thoughtful about it over time, but we haven't made any changes yet."
Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey has got a #bitcoin tag in his Twitter bio which suggests his interest in the cryotocurrency. It is no doubt that Dorsey is a supporter of bitcoin as he is also the CEO of payments company Square which purchased $50 million worth of bitcoin in October of last year. Moreover, he has a small team called Square Crypto which is responsible for supporting bitcoin development.
The interest of Twitter showed days after Tesla's investment worth $1.5 billion in the cryptocurrency. Tesla's investment news was confirmed by its 10-K report with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on Monday. It was also highlighted the possibility of accepting payments in bitcoin in days to come.

Elon Musk is also supposed to be a great supporter of bitcoin as he said, "I do at this point think bitcoin is a good thing, and I am a supporter of bitcoin. I think bitcoin is really on the verge of getting broad acceptance by conventional finance people," during a Clubhouse discussion.
In past Musk had also revealed his strong belief that the future Mars economy could have a basis of cryptocurrency such as bitcoin. To back up the same prediction he had written, "Mars economy will run on crypto,” in a reply to a tweet.
Elon has also backed the rise in the price of Dogecoin-meme based currency by 50 per cent when he posted memes on Twitter in its support. He tweeted “Bought some Dogecoin for lil X, so he can be a toddler holder."
On Monday, the cryptocurrency ascertained a record for a brief period after Elon Musk, rapper Snoop Dogg and Kiss bassist Gene Simmons posted tweets about it.
